Who are we? We are a group of High school students working together to spread the word about the value of consuming a balanced diet. We discovered that a lot of teenagers battle with bad diets in an effort to acquire or lose weight. Our group, also known as "Nourish Nation," aims to convince our classmates to eat balanced meals. Raising awareness about Balanced Diets: Promoting healthier choices

Raising awareness ab o ut having a balanced diet Welcome to our blog post, where we will share the highlights and outcomes of our science PBL project aimed at promoting the importance of consuming a balanced diet among teenagers. In today's fast-paced world, unhealthy diets have become increasingly common, and we believe it's crucial to raise awareness about the significance of proper nutrition and its impact on overall health and well-being. Campaign Highlights: Our project involved various activities designed to engage and educate our schoolmates about the benefits of a balanced diet. Here's a recap of the activities and their impact: Brochures and Posters: We created visually appealing brochures and posters that emphasized the importance of consuming a balanced diet rich in essential nutrients. These informative materials were strategically placed around the school to catch the attention of our peers and encourage them to learn more about nutrition. Interactive Game: Di

💪  proteins    ðŸ’ª  One fact that you may heard over and over is that our body is made of water , however , did you know that 17% of our body is made up of protein? Well i'm here to talk and show you the  amazing structures and functions of proteins! Video Explanation :  https://youtu.be/hok2hyED9go?si=9SAsYTU0HDY9W9Uk What is Protein?   A protein is a basic structure found in all life, composed of 20 amino acids , which are smaller molecules containing carbon , oxygen , hydrogen , and sometimes sulfur atoms. these individual amino acids can be combined in various ways .    From where do the amino acids come from? amino acids are essential for our body's function, derived from food and made in the body. They are broken down into individual amino acids, which are then transported to cells for cell assembly. Our bodies can produce half of the amino acids needed, while the rest come from food. why do do we need to eat proteins? Protein is an important part of a balanced diet.

Exploring the World of Lipids

LIPIDS -What are lipids?   Lipids are a diverse group of organic molecules that are characterized by their hydrophobic (water-repelling) properties. They play essential roles in the human body and in all living organisms. -WHAT'S THE FUNCTION OF LIPIDS?  The functions of lipids include energy storage, insulation, organ protection, cell membrane structure, and physiological regulation. They are a vital part of a balanced diet and are integral to understanding biochemistry and biology. Properaties of lipids: Listed below are some important propaeraties of Lipids for the human body: -Lipids are oily or greasy nonpolar molecules, stored in the adipose tissue of the body. - Lipids are a heterogeneous group of compounds, mainly composed of hydrocarbon chains. -Lipids are energy-rich organic molecules, which provide energy for different life processes. - Lipids are a class of compounds characterised by their solubility in nonpolar solvents and insolubility in water. - Lipids are si

⭐ ALL ABOUT CARBOHYDARTES ⭐      ⭐ Carbohydrates are one of the three major macronutrients, along with proteins and fats. They are an essential source of energy for the human body and play a crucial role in various physiological processes. Here's some important information about carbohydrates: 1. Definition: Carbohydrates are organic compounds composed of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen atoms. They are classified based on their chemical structure into three main types: monosaccharides, disaccharides, and polysaccharides. 2. Energy Source: Carbohydrates are the primary source of energy for the body. During digestion, complex carbohydrates are broken down into glucose, a simple sugar that can be readily used by cells to produce adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the body's main energy currency. 3. Dietary Sources: Carbohydrates are found in a wide range of foods, including fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, dairy products, and sugary foods. Complex carbo
